what a bike

Seen that a few times, dont know is it just me or when its going 220 mph when you look at the road side and things its passing it doesnt look that fast?? i know when ive been going over 150 on my private track the side roads etc seem to go past alot faster than that??

May be wrong lol

But keeping the front wheel up to 130+....eek!!!

Also the speedo hits the stop 220MPH at 10K revs, but the revs carry on to 11K, so maybe its doing more than 220MPH?

This was doing the rounds on here a couple of years ago and i came to the same conclusion as you,

The white lines are not moving as i think they would at those speeds and according to my mate who rides fast bikes he thinks it is not correct either.

i love this video, the acceleration is insane. have you guys seen the 500bhp turbo hayabusa? now THAT is insane!! :D

I agree, I think it's in kph, keep an eye on the roadside when he slows down to 100 and you can see it's definitely not mph - even if it is in kph he's got some kahunas though!

it is mph as the kmh is on the inner of the dial and its the haybusa turbo so can do 220 + so when the speedo maxes out can do more yep, even though it does look a bit slow

I think the lens on the camera is making it look slow / frame rate may not be able to keep up with the white lines

I call BS on that video, at the end, does that look like 100mph to you? Looks more like 40 to me.

The tree and stuff on the side of the road should have sped past much quicker. Remember that vid of the frenchie in the formula one car in the streets and how fast the side of the road passed on that. KMH i say.

I'd agree here too - the white lines do not pass much quicker when the speedo shows 220, than they did at 100. And when it slows down, the white lines appear to fly past at the same rate

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yea but if you drive fast, 100+ (on your personal race track) then slow back down to 70mph. It feels like you arnt even moving too!

Video always make things look funny, specially out such a small view.

It does look like it flies round a little fast but its a fooking crazy bike so it is possible.

On one of Ghost riders DVD, he has a view on the speedo and that flies round just as fast...

I think i remember a thread on some club where it was proven to be fake and the speedo/rev meter had been tampered with to show it faster than it is?
