hks/apexi controllers

i have 5 electronic boxes dotted around the dashboard: 1/ apexi qn data converter 2/apexi air flow converter 3/apexi auto injector driver 4/hks turbo timer 5/ hks electronic valve controller. does this lot add any value to my car & is there any second hand value to these boxes?

Ashy,

They all add cost to the last owner but, IMHO, if the car is relatively standard apart from the boxes then I'd ditch all except the turbo timer.

However, for those who have gone mad with engine mods, there is a more justifiable reason for having them so there should be a second hand market.

The next statement is by no means advice but, in my experience, 50% of current price tends to be the going rate for second hand gear like this (and current price is actual rather than retail). Although if you halve some of Johnny's prices they'll be paying in coins.

So ignore these gits who are trying to take it all off your hands for a tenner !

Dave

if so mail me ,cheers

before you start removing stuff from the car, i would recommend taking to someone in the know, and get them to check if they are all in use and configured.

simply just removing them may not return your car to stock condition, and may do more harm than good
