I have just had my auto reconditioned. Cost £1500 but was a total rebuild. The company are excellent JR TRANSMISSIONS in Farnborough Hants. The local Nissan dealer sends all the Z's there. They even loan them the Breakout kits for fault diag's. When mine was there it was sitting next two ours luvely Z's. The problem was caused by the bush at the back of the box which can move forward and block the oil feed. Common with fault with Imports. The bush needs to be replaced by a solid bush, UK models were recalled to fix this apparently.

Trussy, have you got a contact number. That's local to me so It might be worth adding it to the contacts list if mine ever lets go.

Was £1500 including the removal/fitting and VAT?

Do they do any upgrades like Silvia?

Simon

Their number is 01252 548337. Paul or John(bros) are the main men.

Price was total incl vat removal/refit.

Sorry simon. My number is 07808 316829 and I live in farnborough

Trussy, I often pop over that way to see some friends of mine so look out for a black ZX when out. It will probably be me!
