TBH I don’t think employee of the month is a very good idea. It just creates resentment amongst the staff.

 

I don't think they are very good either - coz the whole idea is just stupid American crap. A bit like "team building weekends" and "bonding sessions"

 

I do like my job quite a bit, but ultimately I only go there because I get paid to. OK, it's good to have the odd social function but I have a life and friends outside work and like to keep work/leisure totally separate.

 

Don't worry Hun - it's only a travesty if you are pipped for the award by "an inanimate carbon rod" like poor old Homer :rofl:
