I wanna paint my wiper grill. Someone out there must have done this before. Is there a 'best' paint to use - how best do I prep the surface? Any assistance gratefully received.

Got a B&Q just down the road from me. Will make the purchase after the footy today. Dont suppose you'd know how best to prep the surface - it's ever so slightly degraded.

Satin black plasticote available from b+q..

You can just use a grey blocker paint spray available from most motor spares shops. It basically applies a thick smooth paint covering all the imperfections, then just spray over with a plasticote spray once smooth. HTH

I had mine done in black glossy paint and it looks the mutts nuts mate...always looks clean and shiny and if your car is black, it looks even better...I recommend it...

yep mines is the original greyish with chipped paint but def thinking of gloss black too due to the shine on my car.

Project for tomorrow sorted then. Gloss black it is then. Should marry well with my tinted windows.

this is the best stuff in my opinion ive done it myself as well,,

it cost £10 pounds from halfords , other outlets may sell it but its the best by far

as for prep any rough areas mat need sanding ,if all ok use a good degreaser .

Then shake can well and apply 2-3 thin coats works a treat !

halfords flexible vinyl paint ask jason farrow or korame what the end result looks like ! on mine anyway !!
