I'm think of buying one of these from a forum member for 300 quid. Its used but only done about 300 miles. Anyone know if they are any good, the seller says they are much better than smithy's organic street clutch as the ACT is not organic but a proper heavy duty clutch.

Should I get the ACT or spend 30 quid more and get the street clutch from smithy?

Hi Mate, not really a fair comparison, but I used an ACT with street disc for a year and was quite happy with it. Although I had to change it after my first dyno session - since my engine mods were producing causing it to slip (dyno'd at 354 rwhp - see dyno section).

If you've only got mild mods then the street will be fine and is as smooth as standard. I think it holds about 330 NM's. The disc you refer to is a bronze paddle disc? If so it'll be a PITA if you get stuck in traffic!

im boosting 14psi so need something fairly good, what do you think of the ebay one?

I was going to buy a max street clutch from andy z but he pulled out :(

RPS Street clutch would do the job nicely, similar centreforce clutch would also do the job.

Most zeds are boosting at around 14psi mate, you are not alone.
