Just ordered these from z centre:

Got a few questions:

 

1. Any idea if they come with the orange bulbs? If not can I get them from halfords etc?

 

2. Are the orange indicators easy to get off and are these a straight replacement?

Mine came with the clear indicators fitted, the guy I bought it from had done them himself...

 

...Just fished out the receipt and it doesn't mention any bulbs with the wing indicators but the front bumper crystal indicators seem to have come with silver bulbs. Mine also had the rear side reflectors replaced with clear markers with red bulbs in. Looks nice too.

 

And he fitted them himself, and he didn't seem like a DIY tech-head to me, so I reckon it can't be all that hard.

put the silver blubs in them mate so you dont get the egg effect

yeah they just slide out one way or the other or twist cant really remember but it's an easy job, and they should be a straight replacement

Don't get the orange bulbs, give Danny from DTA (Details in the traders secion) a call regarding silvertec bulbs, they look loads better than the fried egg effect orange bulbs give you!

They do come with orange indicator bulbs, but you really need the chrome finish bulbs that illuminate orange. and the Chrome side bulbs that illuminate clear. Got mine from local motor factors. They do mirror finish that illuminate red, Orange, Blue or white. I use these in my present indicators.

The Crystal indicators that Luke sells have a side light and indicator in them.

 

The normal side light bulb looks a bit naff as they're very visable as is the indicator bulb. Chrome is the way to go.

Those silver bulbs illuminate orange though right?

You can get them that illuminate Red as in the ones I had in my brake lights at first 25w or Orange 25w or 5w that illuminate Orange, Red, and pure white LED's with chrome finish even blue.

Just to clear everything up:

 

(1) Alfo - I've posted a response to your post in the DTA section regarding the silvertec bulbs

 

(2) Alfo has ordered the clear side repeaters (not crystal front indicators). Therefore, I can offer the silvertec side repeater bulbs which flash amber. When the clear side repeater lenses are ordered they come with amber coloured bulbs.
