Hello

I have a z31 1989 3.0 i V6 turbo which does not boost. The engine does all the work. Can't work out why, the boost gauge moves etc and I can hear the turbo whistle up but no power comes from it. Also there seems to be a samll miss on the ngine like one cylinder is not running fully.

 

Could some body also confirm where the oil pressure should be because currently it is below 30 when warm and does not rise when the car is throttled.

Its my first z car and has never boosted at all. The car doesnt smoke or burn oil.

It currently feels like its only running 110 bhp which is slightly disheartning.

Can some one help??????

Oil pressure should rise tho mate.

Any ideas what it may be?

 

Doesnt burn oil or anything?

Is there anysort of ECU diagnostic you can do like we have on the Z32-that might give you a few clues.

Think there might be but not sure how

Try a search on google for a Z31 ECU diagnostic-that might help
