Empty plugs / sockets near Hicas gear

I was under the bonnet today and came accross 2 empty plug sockets near the hicas gear. I was wondering what are these for? and should there be anything conected to them (if anything)? If there should be something connected to either of them, can this cause any problems?

 

I dont supose this has anything to do with the car being a manual does it as our auto zed has both of these connected to something?

 

Any help is much appreciated as usual :D

    Was it auto, been converted to manual?-that's where the gearbox electics plug in IIRC! :wack:

    Could of been an auto mate, didnt think of that. It hasnt been in the country long so il get it checked out. Cheers mate
