I bought a 6' plus Japanes Maple today and used the Z for taking it home in, just took the passenger targa out and putting the passenger seat forward and tieing the maple to the passenger seat for support then drove all the way home at about 20mph. Never had so many looks even more than usual in a Z. LMAO Who needs a trailor when you have t tops.

Tis true, the zed is as good a workhorse as any Ford escort estate:

One 7.5ft Minimal and one 6.5ft shortboard, sorted! :hyper:

Before I got the Pickup I always collected our Christmas tree in mine. We usually have a 8ft tree. Most if the time we just go to the local place near Chirk and the guy over guestimates so we have a foot or 2 to chop off. Pasenger seat reclined, Back seat folded down, Rug over the seats and a elasty tie through the boot eye and round the targa retaining rings. Tree hangs out about a foot or 2 depending on how much over size it is. Then keep speed below a ton so that the top still has pine needles on it when I get home.

Used mine last night to pick up 5 big bales of bark chipping for the garden. Fitted great with the back seat down.

Was like having bought traction control for only 25 quid when driving it home after, with all that extra weight!

You can't fit a water feature in one though - had to take mine back to customer service at B&Q and come back later in the wife's Pug 106 :headvswal
