Due to my boost problems i thought i may as well try and renew all my hoses and pipes with silicon replacements

waiting on Smithy to get back to me on some silicon hose but was wondering if these

http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=221

would actually make any diffence to the running of the car (power/smoothness)apart from solving any leak issue i had with the old ruuber hoses?

A stupid noob question-just interested if they do anything other than look 'bling'

I fitted these on Saturday, not made any big difference but fitted well and I'm pleased with them, also they were cheaper than the stock ones from the Nissan dealer.

They wouldn't make any difference in themselves but are well worth getting as if there were leaks in the system it would be a major problem, and the old ones on your car probably need replacing. Dave

when i first got the car one of the pipes to the Throttle bodies didnt have a jubilee clip on!

I knew they were in a poor state but cleaning the bodies this week has shown they arent up to the job anymore they are both split at the ends making it harder to get them on and off without splitting them more

Guess its in the Ingen ones i need-

saw the HKS ones but surely you are only paying for the branding?

Ask around to see if the HKS are polished inside, the Ingen one aren't, not sure what else might be different. My Ingen one took about 20 mins to fit, one old pipe was stuck on, apart from that a simple job.

Also, Luck is on holiday this week.

So i guess with the polishing on the inside all it means is the airflows smoother?

Cant see how that would make much difference to justify extra 100 quid
