Transverse Link Movement

Whilst fitting new rose jointed tension rods today, I noticed that the drivers side Transverse Link had some movement in it (suspension member end, not the wheel hub end), the nearside was solid. It moved in and out in the direction of the centre of the car to the wheel.

What needs to be replaced here? Also, how easy is it to do?

Thanks

David

Just the bush mate!-Zcentre sell poly but that means doing both,or MJP for OE part. ;)

Sorry for sounding dumb, but suspensions always been a weak point for me, but what’s involved in changing it? Do I need to remove the whole unit?

Thanks

David

It looks like a local garage job then to remove and replace the bush, and to do the ball joint end at the hub.

Cheers!
