Would have thought thats not too bad for decats, but would be a bit cynical about it with the downpipes 2, not an informed opinon zed wise, but they lok decent enough from the picture

got a set of these from this guy.fantastic quality  i have heard though that may be fitment issue's with the auto box

yep i bought a set of these from same seller got mine for £92, fitted well and good quality. they fit very close to the sump on an auto tho, been on for 4 months now and no probs . when fitting bolt everything loosely in place and then fully tighten everything starting at turbo and work your way back.power comes in lower down the rev range now.

Have either of you got any pics of them fitted?

Sounds ok then if they fit well.

What was the difference in power / spooling>>??

power comes in lower in rev range and car feels stronger mid range also had to back off boost controller a bit cause it was hitting higher boost sooner causing boost controller to cut in and create an annoying surging effect.

Thanks lahsx

Sounds like they might be ok, I am always sceptical of thigs that appear too cheap...

me to mate but was pleasantly surprised, paid 125 for mine ,sometimes there are good bargains out there though

yep so am i mate but being an engineer by trade i knew i could make them fit even if they didnt so i took the chance and didnt have to modify anything, i work at a tyre and exhaust fitting place at the moment (mot tester) and they fitted better than a lot of replacement exhausts ive had the pleasure of fitting, think the problems with some of the ebay ones have been with pipes from another seller, have seen a couple of other people selling what look like the same pipes.

sorry cant get pics at the moment cars on axle stands getting preped for painting.

No bother mate, thanks for your replies anyway.

Have these myself, ask them if they are Megan's as thats what i purchased from them, as said before, fit it all loose then tighten up, good quality for a good price, haven't found them cheaper since.

came with megan warranty ,these are a fraction of the cost i've seen these go for

Just got these turned up yesterday look well good quality got mine for £99+£13 p+p also what do you do with the flexie pipe that joins in on the down pipe just under the car

obviously you leave them disconected as they have no place on decat downpipes

What do they do?

its all for emission control, and as decat has no emission control, you do not need them ;)

you may aswell do away with the aiv systym whilst your at it

Ok cheers mate

Do away with the aiv system what is that whats it do and whats it look like :D

aiv is all the junk connected to other end of flexi pipes its hidden away in behind wheel arch liner at the rear of the front wheel arches consitsts of air filter unit and a control valve one of each in each arch you can either remove all the gubbins or just disconect the flexi pipe. it would inject air into the cats to help them heat up quicker and help catalictic reaction to improve emissions.

Do these pipes just replace the down pipes?

What about the mid section cats, do you leave them in?

Mine is a 1995 model, should I get MOT problems with these?

Ask them if they're made by 'megan racing' from the U.S., if yes they are high quality and good fit.

Nice one Marty...I just bought one its got to be cheap ..even at £130

:p
