I'd get it sorted asap mate, mine went on me on the M25 a while back. Mine started dumping coolant into the passenger footwell, then kept the windows constantly misted up then dumped the ramainder of 82 degree C coolant all over me feet! Which was a nice warm feeling, but alerted me to the fact that me temperature guage had hit the top!

Matrix is a twat to get to, however on the Aus site and somewhere on TT.net there is a tech on replacing it without having to dismantle the entire dash.

But the other thing to take into account is that 9 times outta 10 the A/C system has to be recharged! Or so I was told by Bob at Arriva Nelson in Peterborough.

Hey Shaggy - join em up - you'll be fine. I've had to do that before to my mates car - and its fine - except the windscreen would freeze on the inside during winter!!

Nissan dealer in Wincanton, Somerset did mine. They seemed to know what they were doing, did it pretty quick, kept me well informed and didn't break anything (although they didn't attach a minor hose properly afterwards - air con drain hose?). They told me the air con system was not touched and didn't need to be regassed. Price was around the £400 mark I think although warranty company paid that. Its a Jap import.
