Datascan Speed Trial

Just tried the speed trial function on Datascan 0-60 in 5.66 seconds.

Not bad for a stock Twin Turbo I thought!

Anyone know how to do a data log in graph form?

anyone else have problems with software crashing or saying invalid port no. at odd times? (removing and reconnecting lead seems to clear the fault)

How did you launch the car? Think lauching should make a huge difference to your 0-60 times . Im planning on doing a few this weekend once i get my tracking sorted and i remove the mesh from round my maf

Rev to around 3000rpm and let the clutch out firmly but dont drop it as you will do a huge burnout. (good fun but slow!). Takes a couple of tries to get the feel of the clutch. Rev to 6000 rpm in first, and snatch second which will easily take you through sixty. Datascan starts as soon as you move and automatically stops the clock for you, so set it up, press activate, and off you go when your ready .

Did your counter stop at 60, or just over 60? When I've done 0-60 tests the final speed is often 63.2ish!

0-60mph : 4.78 secs

0-100mph : 11.97 secs

thats with a bit of revs(2-3k) and slipping the clutch. Still resulted in wheelspin all the way through 1st gear though and a little in 2nd.

It read 61.5 after both timed runs

Do you have any mods Legrath?

Im wondering how many mods you need to get below 5 secs.

It read 61.5 after both timed runs

I wonder what the time would be for 60.0mph dead

Cant wait for the roads to dry to do some more testing, way to slippery at the moment!
