Exhaust System

Hey Guys

 

Read a post that said to rid tappety noise , should get a exhaust system with straight through pipes.

Can anyone explain this to me.

    I think they were pulling your leg ...

     

    If you replace the exhaust system with a straight through system it will be so loud that you won't hear the tapping noise anymore! Or anything else for that matter ...

     

    Tapping noise is a cause for concern and needs to be investigated. Failing to do so may cause extensive internal damage to the engine.
