Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground - Sunday August 20th

========================================

"On Your Marks" is a great charity day held at Bruntingthorpe, giving people the chance to be passenger in a wide range of sports/supercars while being thrashed around the quarter-mile track at high speeds. The event, organised by Asda employees, is held annually in memory of a popular depot colleague, and raises funds for cancer charity. It is usually only open to Asda employees and family/friends but I am able to obtain a limited number of guest passes to allow our club members into the day. There is also a small number of track passes, allowing you to thrash your Z around the circuit while scaring the jeezus out of donating passengers.

Can I see a show of hands for people who are interested in coming along as a guest, and also people who are interested in taking their Z around the track. A special half-hour instruction takes place before the day starts for those wishing to take it to the track.

And this year I wouldn't mind that ride you offered me last time :D :rofl:

And to everyone else, this is, as Rich has said, a very good day out and it's all for charideeeee!! So get your names down

ok guys the passes are printed and will be sent out over the next couple of days.

due to some confusion over which pass is for the track and which pass is simply to gain entry to the day [how can that be confusing???] i have supplied both in your envelopes. please read them both. either way, one of them will admit yourself and your car's occupants into the whole event (plus £5 donation at the gate)

so far i have: SkylineDave, Dark Warrior, Boldy, Madhammster, Deve8uk, Slick Pete, DCarey and Stevie007.

if anyone else wishes to come along and has not yet supplied either myself or Ivan with their address please can you do so ASAP.

any other questions please PM myself.

cheers guys!
