I have a UK TT Auto and I am going to upgrade the radiator, however we have an internal auto gearbox oil cooler. The majority of aftermarket rads don't seem to cater for us auto owners.

Have any other owners upgraded? Did you buy a separate oil cooler?

Thanks for your anticpated help.

What is the cooler under the air intake?

thought that was the gearbox cooler and the rad one is for engine oil , anyways im 100% luke does the upgrade kit , you just put bigger one in font of exsiting one , ive go to do the same when i get a koyo !!

The UK auto has two cooling tanks built into the main rad, the Jap has only one. In either case a separate gearbox oil cooler is recommended.

So has anyone else upgraded their UK TT Auto rad, I can't be the only one? I shall change my name to Highlander!

Dude all you need to do is buy seperate oil cooler whether a mocal oil cooler like the zcentre one or a stock one for your autobox & mount it on same bracket as the engine oil cooler then you can get any manual rad which will fit without any problems, thats what ive done & many other auto owners hth.

That's what I want to know, thanks. I assume then I reroute the 2 auto oil feeds from the bottom middle of the rad and connect to the new oil cooler?

yep thats all mate

put the cooler in clean airflow

if you have ever felt your autobox oil cooler after a run you will know why you want it to get the airflow first...I was shocked at how hot mine got

hi mate i have an auto TT i got the auto box cooler from luke at the z centre and oh boy what a difference it makes took a couple of hours to sort but well worth it.

my next job is to get a koyo rad
