auto box

hi zmates my import Z TT auto when cold it takes about 2-3 miles before it warms up and the overdrive kicks in then i have all gears working ok, is this normal for an auto with overdrive? :(

    changes ok up to 3rd but 4th and overdrives takes a long time to engage but when it hot it works fine, have had an auto box oil cooler fitted and had the levels topped up.

    There is a temerature sensor in the gearbox which holds off the ovedrive function till the box is at working temperature, this is normal.

    You Might Have Bad Fluid In Gear Box Or Prob. In The Gear Box Filter.... I Would Change Out The Fluid And Filter.

    agree with Daveman, think i read somewhere its 60 deg. mine does the same m8, it wont give full boost either till its warmed up
