I fitted a Mongoose catback exhaust to my zed (probably the worse thing I have ever done) and now got the dreaded smoke on tick over. If I put standard mid section and exits back on will it clear the smoke problem or is my rear turbo seal now totally gone?

Cheers.

If it has gone, id guess it must of been gone before you fitted the mongoose.

A cat back alone shouldnt harm the tubby seals.

More likely pcv's you just couldnt tell through the stock exhaustas ot may of absorbed more of the cack in the fumes than the new shiney one.

i take it they are the original turbos matey, if then looks like the drop of back pressure has started them to weep a bit of oil. you could try and put the mid box back, but tbh i would start thinking of getting a new set.. would recommend a new pair rather than having them recond.

I have done the pcv valves and hoses and it made no differance. Thing is it wasn't smoking before I did the cat back, think I might try putting a standard one on, just don't want to wast money on buying another exhaust only to find it not going to cure it.

Thanks
