This is a strange one

Basically the car doesnt kick into power as well as it used to at low down speeds it doesnt seem to be boosting properly either (0.5 bar)

However if i go out onto open road and boot it at 60-70 it whacks found to full 0.6 bar and acts normally and really goes!

Im at a loss now....

mines been doing this recently, might be the same for you, was running down on power

only just found out what it could be after checking loads of stuff, intake cam on passenger side bank out 1 tooth (mystery), will cause all kindas issues when not on boost being out by one tooth as its mainly relying on vacuum to pull the air in instead of being forced.

so maybe check out your cam timing.

Tried cleaning throttle bodies and resetting TPS,base idle and reconnecting IAV to cure the problem

Still same problem as mentioned above

The cleaning of throttle bodies have really made a good impact on making the idle smoother however ive heard when reconnecting the IAV the revs should rise from 750 on base to 800 with IAV-It only seems to rise to 790-800.

Ive been using datascan to set TPS-Is this right or should i use a multimeter.

TPS registers .44v at rest and goes to 4.04v when pedal down by the way.

Im getting really confused now because out on the open road its boosting/kicking downcorrectly and nicelybut its almost as if i dont have kickdown at lower speeds as well as only boosting to 0.5bar

tried adjusting the idle and TPS again and has given me a bit more power low down but only boosting to .525-.5.5 bar low down

Starting to wonder if i have a leak somewhere

Just thought i would make a note (in case this this thread comes up in somebodies search at a later date) that the problem went away and returned to normal after a few days.

WAAAAHOOOO!

On explanation i can think of is it took a few days for the ECU to settle down after a few resets after messing around with the idle?
