does anyone else like really get p1ssed at other drivers when they are being complete :smw: ...

i just can't seem to control myself..

this morning on the way to work - on a particular road in southampton the road merges into single lane and the fella (corsa) didn't want to let me in.. so i naturally floored it and shooted straight past the person in front of him and got into the right lane... and pulled a zap @ him....

stopped @ the traffic lights, he pulls up next to me (corsa man that is) winds down his window and shouts at the top of his lungs... ' YOUR A MANIAC'

like what did i do wrong!! i was under the speed limit, even when flooring it, and was in the lanes etc etc...

people love winding me up!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR :headvswal

I'm not bad when I drive, I just like to go fast (although not so much now I have 9 points). I hate people who sit in the outside lane and don't let me pass and also the fact that people have no courtesy on the road. How come the moment people get in cars they think they can act like arseholes? I stop and let people out of junctions and move in to let bikes past when ever they are faster than me. I expect people to do the same for me. If they don't then I go anyhow!!

I think I'm from pretty much the same school of thought. I hardly ever drive right up anybody's arse unless they've really got up my nose... probably the last time I did that was going up to Manchester last month. It's not so much slow/careful driving that annoys me as hesitancy: roundabouts, junctions, changing lanes etc. I don't really do people who can't use their indicators either. But rarely will I say anything or make any gestures... just overtake at the first opportunity. Occasionally I've been known to undertake if someone's really wound me up... and it's at times like that that "lane discipline" really gets up my nose. People don't realise that one cuts both ways: (i) you're only supposed to overtake on the right, (ii) if you're *not* overtaking anything you should be in the left-most possible lane on a multi-lane carriageway. If you don't do both of the above then you're not following proper lane discipline anyway so don't get arsey if I get fed up and go round the inside.

but everyone always associates zimbabwe with South Africa so i just agree!!

(Bit of fame claiming... hee hee) :nana2:

The most number of cars I undertook on the M1 in one move was 27 you should have seen the looks I got. No one took the hint and moved over thou. I constanly have a battle with jerks at a certain roundabout in Hampshire who get into the clearly marked left only lane then try to cut me up it never works when I'm driving the REX in fact one particluar pain in the neck blasted the horn at me, two finger V sign, F*****king Bitch the lot I was about to stop and confront him when a poice car hidding in the layby flagged him down and pulled him over. I was waved on. Nice one

The only time I ever went after a bloke it was because I was indicating to turn right and some fool in a pug came round the wrong side of me narrowly missing the company car I was driving and as he wheel spun he sent road rubbish onto the windscreen and caused a tiny hole and hairline crack. I went bolistic chased him, for about a mile. Finnaly he stopped I got out carrying a spanner from under the front seat, when the guy saw it he went white and speed off. A small firey red headed woman with a spanner and I scared the poo out of him. Scared the poo out of myself once I'd got back into my own car and thought about what I'd just done.
