Please read and give me your thoughts.

 

As many of you know I am now disabled. I have spinal injurys and sadly unable to drive my zed let alone drive. I have recieved alot of help and support from a number of people. (This club has been great for moral support!!!) One of the organisations of which I have recieved alot of support is called the " appd" which stands for The Association Of People With Physical Disabilities. They are a registered Charity NO. 1063895.

 

Why am I telling you all this. Well .. For a start they are a charity. They do not have any links to goverment funding and depend on support from people who donate. I can tell you that they have Really helped me with dealing with Social Services, The local jobcentre and also worked with occupational health and my GP. I sign what ever they ask and they complete all papper work. visit me at my home and are always there to help with a friendly smile.

 

I am pleading to the members of this forum to step up if you want to help a great cause. Donate what ever you can (cheque only to them) and we as a forum can present this to them. I will be asking one other forum called pigeon watch uk. to help and do the same. Both of these groups are really close to my heart and you all on both of these forums have been great! I feel it can be very possitive for this forum. And I feel that we as individuals will be contributing to a great cause.

 

If you wish to donate please put your name below. I Do NOT want the money myself!!!!!! I will ask any club "Senior" member to help out if possible. We can present them with a cheque with as many zeds meeting up when presented. I will leak this information to the local press at the time and inform the local officers (cops) that we are going to organise a meet near by.

 

If you can donate please please please.... put your name below.. and help this charity... this I feel is the least I can try to do for them.. as they have helped me soo much.

I would like you all to know that I have seen Jo Knight from APPD who will be having her boss call me with bank acc details. Once I will recieve this I will post it.. It should be within the next hour..... The other option is to write a cheque made payable to APPD and you can send it to myself. I will then put a list of names etc on here to show support. I will also list details of the other website.... and there contributions. I plan to end this on Friday June 30th. And am hopeing that a main club rep can assist me and the other website in presenting the full donations.

I have decided to donate myself... i have decided that for every donation of 10£ or more I will raffle off my brand new mutant amplifier its the nw280sp model 2x80 watt rms 2x160 watt max its 2 ohm stable bridgeable.

Just to let you all know.. I have not only had donations.. i had alot of reasons for these donations. Someones daughter is disabled and knows all to well the problems that you have to overcome with papperwork and rules etc.... then there are a few people who have spinal injurys as well. There is also someone who is struggling to get information... so the money raised will keep this charity which helps thousands of people going... there funding runs out in dec... so its a very well needed contribution..

 

Anyone else wanting to put something up for a raffle like will be most welcome... please note there are two forums going on.. one Car related and one Shooting orienated.... both of you guys are great forums.. and as i said have raised over 100£ in less than 6 hours... lets keep this up!!!!!
