If taking off the Bracket thats cracked do i need to change the gasket also?

 

As well as that which part do i need? its an auto converted to a manual, so do i need an auto one or a manual one

I'd always change a gasket for a new one, as you'll be disturbing it to replace the bracket.

 

As for auto or manual versions, I'd assume that the auto one is a differant shape to avoid something, so if you've changed to a manual then I'd go for whichever one is cheaper :D if you see what I mean. As an auto will have more things down there than a manual, so it'll be shaped differant, but will still do the same job as the manual one. Get whoever you're buying them from to check the prices first.

but the engine is an auto engine so i'd have thought that what i'd needs to get really.

Makes sense to get the auto one then I guess? Its possible that the fittings are different. Unlikely I'd have thought as nissan wouldn't want to make seperate bits for autos and manuals unless they have to. It fits to the main block doesn't it? I wonder if the block is different for manual/auto? find out, then you'd know.
