They are HKS BOV's (or copies of) , standard size, infact smaller than some. You wont have any problems. THey should also be adjustable.

Those copies can hold up to 2 bar of boost - tried and tested :-)

The only thing to do is check the vacum take off on the bov is seated in as far as it will go, sharp tap with a hammer and you'll be good to go.

:D furk me you didnt mess about dude are you happy with them mucka ;)

there will be a locking adjustment nut on the back of each BOV. when fitted take the car for a drive, and check how early its letting off. You dont want it releasing until your seeing positive boost on the boost gauge. If it is releasing early, simply tighten up the adjustment nut on the back of the BOV's until you get it set right.

Reason is, under light throttle if the bov releases early you arnt getting the meter'd air back into the intake system (as your not recirc'ing anymore) so you get a slightly rich mixture each time it vents. this can cause boggin down or stalling at times.

I have HKS SSQV BOV's but have noticed they dont have the adjuster nut on the back as in pic, why? does this mean mine are a newer model and the ajuster nut has been done away with?

Those hks bovs are not suitable for fitment where the recircs go the car will stall on over run.in the instructions it tells you they will only work when fitted on the pipes feeding the plenum.found this out when i fitted them for a guy in the usual place and no matter how they were adjusted the car stalled constantly when your foot was let off the gas.

i put mine in place of the re circs, i dont get any stalling of the engine when i lift off the gas, i just wondered why mine dosnt have the adjuster at the back :)

the guys cars was an auto and i did the typical man thing and fitted them without reading the instructions.everytime we revved the car it stalled.after reading the blurb it tells you they will only work when fitted directly before the throttle bodies.your bovs might have shimmable springs if they have no adjusters.

sorry to jump in, but whats the best way to balance the blow offs so they work together, mine are the shimmable type and it seems one side has less resistance on idle than the other , are they normally matched . I was thinking that the throttle butterfly was set differnt causing uneven air to each blow off on idle??
