Ecu Reset

How do I do one and is this advisable?

    Disconnect battery....lots of theories on how long it will take from 20mins to a couple of hours. Holding Foot on Brake pedal for a minute after battery disconnected helps drain power from the circuits.

     

    I would Just disconnect now and leave it overnight

     

    You may experience a Higher idle rpm for a few miles, as the ECU goes into Self learn mode.
