Is it only Stillen and Strosek that have done any wind tunnel testing on their rear wings?

Can anyone confirm this?

What is the best spoiler for increased stability at high speed?

And I don't want to know about those horrible, stick-on, chav-style picnic tables! LOL

I have to say that I'm sure the West wings F40 style spoiler worked well also as that was offered by Nissan as a OEM high spoiler kit in the UK.

I remember my neighbour bought a pear Yellow 300ZX in 1990. He to the options pack with the Wings West F40 spoiler and side skirts. It looked awesome. After abour 6 months he got a set of BBS Le Mans wheels And I couldn't wait for the kids to get bigger so I could have one myself.

Unfortunately its the picnic table type that works best.!!!!!

Check out the field in a German Touring Car round or an Aussie V8 race.

They only start to have a downforce effect at silly speeds though.

Up to that point they just cause drag!

Hmm, a few things to think about.

My SWB does seem a lot more unstable at high speed compared to the LWB. I guess that has quite a lot to do with the coilovers, the length and weight differences.

I find it hard to believe that Nissan put any thought into the stock spoiler!

Whatever happens I will not get a picnic table one!

Maybe I'll end up going down the smooth tailgate route...

99 Spec was tested also as a stock factory item ;) Did i mention i sell them ? :D

I might end up going 99spec but there is no rush.

I maybe saving for a long time before I can afford, HIDs, adjustable camber arms, a full respray, 99spec lights, wheel refurb and a rear wing.
