Howdy guys.

 

I am trying to install a Car Phone but I need to find a igntion wire.

 

Anyone got any ideas where I can find one I can splice into ? somewhere back of the stereo would be a good place, but its a mess back there.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

cigarette lighter socket?

Mine doesnt work :( the clock does though, could there be a wire from the clock I could use ?

Why not off the switch?-remember to fuse it tho'! ;)

Just wanna say thanks for the advice on the wiring.

 

I managed to install it today and its the nuts :D

 

Arn't multimeters a cool thing lol.

 

The wire I ended up using was a blue one that went to the retractable wing mirrors.

 

Now I can pose in me ride and not have one of those annoying things in me ear that fall out, got a proper car kit now :D oh and its safer too lol.
