Does anyone know where there is a tech on how to replace the brake master cylinder?

Hey vijay!

 

dont ever remember seeing the tech page on changing a master cylinder. dont have mch luck with your zed do you?!! kinda like me!

 

The one important thing to remember is to use a break bleeding kit when fitting a master cylinder. i have fucked a lot of them up by not doing that. dont just pedal bleed them, using a brake bleeding kit will ensure you get out all the air locks.

you dont need to bleed the brakes through the caliper when you change the master cylinder.

 

removal is quite simple and straightforward, as long as you dont damage the brake pipes that feed from the cylinder.

 

when changed, bleed the system from the bleed point in the boot, on the abs actuator.
