I've got to get my stereo sorted this year and basically wanted to know if anyone has some ideas. My main problem is that I don't really want to lose my boot. I was looking at making a box and using a Kicker 10" sub (made to fit in the area where the tools fit). The other problem is where to locate any amps?????

Any help would really be apreciated.

Thanks

Vijay

Vijay, have a look at the job i did on Marks car, click on "Bob`s place" on the left then have a look.

I have 2 10" sub boxes that will fit either side so the sub is vertical and won`t use up much of your boot. These were custom made from MDF and fibreglass. Give me a call if you are interested. 07770 268705.

I wish I could but I'm in the process of doing up my house and I need to be able to carry stuff. I did look into getting a van for it but insurance wanted to screw me!!

Believe me I would have love to do the whole boot!!!!

You know you want to.

I used to have around 4000W max pumping from my old Rover 220GTI!!

4x 12" Subs running 1000W RMS in a box that filled the entire boot. The steering wheel moved up and down by an inch when the bass dropped!

It really hits fuel consumption with the extra strain on the alternator by the way.

I wish I could cram it all in the ZX.

Thats my project for the spring!
