Bloody hell .....just a quick thirty minute job ....Spoke to Kirbz he is a top fella and loaned me a trolley jack to get under my car and tighten up the loose starter motor, so got home waited for the rain to stop , got out my trusty socket set and scissor jack to get the car high enough to get the troley jack under the front cross member.....no sprung out wings here , no thank you very much ....looked for the wheel brace to take of my drivers side front wheel to get at the starter motor , found OE wheel brace ..yep you guessed it ..doesnt fit down the fekin holes in my after market alloys ......ARRGGHHHHHHH now i have to go tramping all over morecambe looking for a whell brace to fit and axle stands just to be on the safe side

Why are you taking the wheels off again ? Jack the car high and put axle stand under front sub frame and slide under to access the starter. With wheels on LOL i hope

nothing better than humiliating a muppet, our cars might cost a ,lot to maintain but that is why they are driving a saxo and us our zeds!

you can always borrow a socket to get the wheel off if you havnt got it sorted bud ;)

Isn't it always that way. Still with all the extra hassle just think how geat you'll feel when you finnaly get it sorted. Best of luck with it.

Why dont yoou organise a girls show and have men doing the top off thing. Im sure you would get some serious wife participation if you where to do that.

not that that has anything to do with starter motors .....but girls modelling on cars is one thing , getting their jubblies out for any burberry wearing prat with an overbite is typically chavette IMO
