Any pad that dosent make your wheels black is eating away at your discs. Pads and a wheel clean is cheaper!!!

I just got some brembos and Hawk pads from Ztech.

Only got pads on back with OE discs and brembo with EBC blacks on the front at the moment, waiting for hawk pads, but I can say they are much better than before.

Discs are brembo, good make. Not sure on Hawk pads, never heard of name. But so far so good!!!! Just waiting for him to send my front pads and braking should be even better!!

I think 3G discs (cost more) are brembo blanks then they machine grooves/holes etc...

Smithys big brake kit is the one to go for with portfield pads,as long as you have 17" wheels.

Look on smithys website. The standard kit is £450 for slotted only including brackets ,discs and portfield pads. You pay a little more for slotted and cross drilled like mine.Smithy if your watching i should be on commision.

To be honest mate IMO you really need discs that are made for performance stopping. Whilst Brembo obviously is a good brand they make different specs too, the ones referred to above were simply basic brembo plain discs offered to replace the OEM at a good price, around a 100 quid a set ( even less trade) so your not getting the performance side of it at that price, however ideal if existing are worn and wanting a cheap alternative, which your not.

Check out the link below to what i offer, these set out to increase stopping power from the offset and then offer the branded name second.

Smithy hurry up with my Rubble Spec Big Brake Kit, fitted my boost controller and Andy’s ECU chip this weekend and now the standard brakes are smoking!

I guess that good things are worth waiting for!

I've got the EBC turbo grooved disks on the front and find them really good. Also I recently bought the HAWK front pads from Ryan and find them loads better that the GREEN STUFF pads which were crap ;) ps Nice alloys mate :D

youll find the porterfield pads are great ..dont press to hard on the centre pedal if you dont want the rear speakers ripping out of their pods :)
