Anyone know about retro-fitting Cruise Control??? Is it possible,and more specifically does it matter about the style of transmission ?

I dont know everything there is to know in the world about the cruis and without looking at the manual. I can only assume that it consists of the computer / Solenoids that set it from the Steering colum - 3 way switching on that i think.

 

The cruise works thru a vaccum pump that holds the throttle in the position that you set it So in therory it shuold be quiet easy to retrofit yes.

 

Of course that is just in theory - In reality i have no idea what else is involved - Why would you want it anyway - I never use mine and it dont work under 30 mph anway useless POS - Just get a brick and lump it on the business pedal - that is what the car is for dude smile.gif
