Featured Replies

what prices you getting as silly?

Im 25 and got 6 or 7 yrs NCD (cant remember) i pay about £800 PNCD with adrian flux but i use the car most days so can not go for silly limited milage of 2 or 3000.

I declaried ever mod inc wheels and radio the lot, but they seemed to do a good policy.

Seem to remember admiral were pretty close as well using their website

I hated confused.com, all that happened was you ended up with loads of stuipid cost policys then they all phone you back promising "we will be able to lower your policy just give em a few details" then they f*cking ask everything again and then still dont beat your cheapest! Mind due if you fone them back with lower quotes from others then they go through it all again!

Nice idea shame it doesnt quite work IMHO

I've insured mine with Heritage & i'm now 26 (25 when i took out hte policy) with 3 years NCD & 0 points or claims

with boost controller, tubby timer & 17" alloys declaired on a 1989 LWB TT import - cost me £500 Fully Comp

J

i am geting prices like 1700 up

i will try them insurance companies

thanks all

Best one I tried is...

http://www.bell.co.uk

Comprehensive insurance for me is £367.13

But cos I wanna pay monthly theres 8% interest and another 10% for something else grrr.

So when I called em yesterday the new price is as follows :

£106.83 Deposit

£45.46 x 9 monthly payments

Its a 10 month policy but they give you a years no claims

I still think that its well excessive, but compared to others it seams ok?

I would recommend Adrian Flux or Carole Nash, just give them a call. All the 'normal' brokers don't really cater for anything other than standard cars.

i found bell ins to be wicked.i am 21 with sp30 and 2 years ncb.800 quid.v pleased

Admiral dont cover Coilovers! Dont know if you have them!

Cheapest quotes I found, both cover all mods inc Coilovers!

A-Plan

Adran Flux

Another vote here for Bell Direct (.co.uk)

Cheapest of the lot (staggeringly inefficient and disinterested too but aren't they all?)

I pay £550 a year - comp on a 99 NA.

norwich union was good for me...was 26 with full no claims, 8000miles a yr, driveway parking, uk tt 550 if paid in one go! not bad i thought
