Decided to get off my backside and get the rear lights done.

 

Kind of messy with all that nasty tar stuff, but not too much of hassle really.

No mate you don't have to do the red as well it's just down to taste. I did mine like yours and put 3mm pin stripes on the inside to look 99 spec. Nice job fella ;)

I know they do sell them in some car parts places because I looked but in the end I cheated and gave them to a graphics place to do. Showed them a picture and told them they were about 3mm and they did it for a tenner ;)

Petrolhead thats a really tidy job there mate a real fan of this conversion respect to those who have done it! gona try it myself next month!! can you tell me if thats the conversion kit or did you aquire some perspex yourself???? well done

I went to B&Q, but they didn't have any material, so...

 

Don't tell anyone, but I used to have a work unit, which had florescent lighting with the diffuser stuff I required. The unit was closed over a year ago due to irrepairable water damage, but I had a feeling they never bothered to lock it down, lol.

 

Yeah, I basically burgled the place for a sheet of plastic, lol.

 

Angle grinder is definately the best tool for the job.
