they wouldnt be a bolt on turbo if thats what you mean??

 

you would need to turn the turbo, 5 bolt downpipes and modified intake pipes

 

so yes good turbos but once you start adding up all the costs of making them fit you might as well go for a turbo designed for a 300zx??

xs power turbos are absolute rubbish, they have a very bad reputation!

xs power turbos are absolute rubbish, they have a very bad reputation!

 

yes they have a very poor reputation but its all based on hearsay and rumour, no one actually knows anyone whos bought on and it actually being rubbish.

There arethreads galore about them on imoc and gt4oc, most the things people complain about are the decat downpipes for the 3sgte cracking. however you'll find that of the few that have cracked they didint bother to fit the support bracket.

 

ther were rumours of some shit tubos going around on ebay , however the lad who runs XS (jason)says that they werent actually his turbos.

OK then from what I hear from the people moaning about them, they are rubbish, but any money you save will be spent on pulling the engine again and replacing them.

Well i can speak from experiance, Ive used T60, Super T61, T70's. T4's T3/4's Turbos, Ive used thier manifolds, dects pipes, turbo adapters, wastegates on lots of different cars. The bad rumous about XS power originated in the states on various Boards. Namely the Honda ones. You will find a very famous picture of an XS pwer compressor housing which is completely Split in 2. this was posted up on loads of boards a few years back - The source of the pic was actaully a board Sponsor!! the Comp housing hadnt been split (or just glued togather as claimed) - it had been cut.

Seems the only people diss this stuff are people without any expereance off it, or People who sell known brand name products at 10 times the price,

If the turbo's and components are good enough to be used on Loads of 800+ BHP Supras for example around the world, i think its good enough for loads of people and it certainly has been for me.

 

The only problem i ever had with XS products was a 50mm External waste gate which jammed open. It was a very easy fix with a small file so no biggy
