Hello all,

I'm new to ZX cars, and last saturday i flew and picked one up and drive it 14 hours back, the car drove great, great power, no stalling, started up fine etc.

got home parked it for 2 days since its been raining, and today finally i got to drive it, when...

the car started driving really bad, like is bogging down, not getting air or something? Im not getting any check engine light or nothing? can you please help me out here? if i cruise on low rpm's like 2500 it feels like is driving rought, with a rumble feel thru the whole car, shaky kind of with a rumble, i don't know exactly how to describe it.

please help! I don't even know where to start checking? can turbos be going bad?

the car is a 1992 TT (usa version, if it matters), it has a computer upgrade, turbo timer set at 3min. hks blow off valves, adjustable shocks, and i think that is it.

thanks for any info,

Oscar.

sounds like the maf(AFM).

Remove the nose panel (between the headlights (2 bolts))

you'll see a big Y-piece of rubber with a plastic tube and and a connector going to it.

if you remove that and dry it out and clean connectors and see how you go.

alternatively (just to prove it) - disconnect it and car will run fine up to 2500rpm

You may have an aftermarket air filter and no splash guard so filter and maf got wet.

cool guys thanks, i will try that, i did drove on rain but it ran fine the whole time, i will do that and see what happens.

thx.

Oz.
