My zeds just flooded again, its now happened three times in the last four months.

haven't used it for nearly a week (which is when it normally floods)

before it was parked up i drove it for about 60 miles (so no quick short moves the night before!)

 

yet it floods if you don't get it started the first time it turns over, having to remove the pump relay and frig about with that for a bit to get it to start. :headvswal :headvswal

 

once its started it will start fine for the rest of the day, just that first time in the morning...

 

please help me

Car is 89 jap Twin Turbo Auto, has had a recent service (inc plugs), battery is good (bout a year old), no mods bar a mongoose exhaust

 

Any ideas chaps/chapesess?????? :confused: :confused:

not checked for fault codes, tbh not sure how to, if the coil pack connecters were dodgy wouldn't it be erratic all the time?

 

stellaz is the temp sensor the same as the cold start sensor-the yellow one on front of engine next to temp guage sensor?

do you guys start your zed with any throttle/ put your foot down when it fires?

mine doesn't need any gas at all when warm but needs a bit of pedal when its cold??????

ok guys, to do a diagnostic do you HAVE to wire in a switch like the aussie site says? can you just loop a wire?

 

how do you remove and test the temp sensor and how much do they roughly cost?

A spanner will undo it, but you will need to re-bleed the water system....

 

as for cost ??? cant remember...sorry....between £10-30 :hyper:
