Seriously it must be me, this past week has been shit, first myrear main bearing seal goes, which i replace. Then it goes again!!!, this was due to gunked up pvc valves which i had reaplced. so i had it done again. Then after i get it back, it starts peeing tranny fluid everywhere- like a bloody tap!!!!!!! SO....... in it goes again- new bushes and seals on the box and its back on the road. Then i spend an hour getting rid of the tar stuck to my car!!!

 

After a good run i notice two things 1) its not kicking down correctly 2) ive got a wheel balance problem!!

I disconected the battery to reset the brain for the gearbox and let it learn again. everthing ok i guess. seems ok now

 

Then i take the car to get the wheels balanced, all done ok but ive got a fuckin nail in my front offside tyre!!!! Shit!!!!!! so i have it removed and repaired. When the car was up i noticed that the two oil filled bushes on those two arms at the front have burst and need reaplacing!! 97 quid each from nelson!!

 

Then i remember i need new tyres at the back!!! 265/35/18 pirelli p-zeros!! ARSE!!!

 

Ok so i dont mind spending the 900 quid on my lovely this week.

 

I have to get those bushes done and new tyres then hopfully ill be ok!!!!!!

 

Oh and another thing, i span it twice the other night whilst racing my mate in his MR2 turbo (kicked his ass mind!!) OUPS!!!!!

 

Oh well, such is life,

if the bushes are the tension rod bushes (which I think they are), there about £50 from the Z centre.

Yes that is correct Vijay,poly ones don't burst go for that Luke or a pair of rose jointed ones for £220.Don't go for stock shite!!!

You want to hear a whining noise. How about heading towards Xmas and a smoking tailpipe with no power and shifting problems. Engine out, sir your car needs a new turbo or its a twin it needs both, a new water pump (leaking), a new radiator (leaking, connectors rusted and broken), autobox was shagged needs recon'ing. Do I keep it? Decided WTF can't afford a Ferrari so spend some money on it so fitted got new JWT 500 Turbos, JWT 555 injectors, JWT ECU, a radiator, a water pump, a Greddy FATT, set of Samco hoses and oh yes had the autobox reconditioned. It cost me two layers of skin and taking her away for the weekend when the wife saw the first bill for £5k, and haven't dared to let her see the other two bills. Now with the car back on the road for 6 weeks so far the aircon pump has seized and the cam belt pre-tensioner has broken, and of course its been 5 months since the tyres were replaced so a ful set of tyres needed too. Add it all up and the Ferarri was a reality. Ummmm Nissan 300zxtt or Ferarri?

luke, u bought them rods yet? if not ill give u the superflex number mine were 52 quid inc p+p he posted em monday i got em tuesday, now thats what i call service. i just need someone to squash em in now...

He He, timmy mate, ill give you a call tomorrow and we will have to have another whining session- you know the ones we usually have where we start of saying how much we hate our zeds and how much always goes wrong with them and were gonna sell up and finish up absolutely swearing blind that the sun does shine out of the back end of a zed and how great they are and how we would never want anything else!!
