what are the censors for in between the plug shaft and the head one on each cylinder are they pronr to breaking down mine are cusing me problems ie miss fireing any body come across this before and how was it solved

Do you mean the Coilpacks ? The 300zx uses direct ignition. A coilpack on each sparkplug instead of a Single Coil/distributor and HT leads.

 

You can get replacement coilpacks and connectors from one of the Zed breakers(used) or Mike @ MJP (new).

 

They tend to breakup and corrode overtime from the engine bay heat.

no they sit infront of those and attach to the head or pellum

the wires come fome the same harness as the coil packs

are the sort of orange/brown conectors? they sound like the injector ones, if there are six of them . then they are
