Found this the other day and fell in love...I was even more suprised to find out it was made by Saab. The Aero X might not be everyones cuppa cha but I'm liking the clean, aggressive lines, the wraparound windscreen (not to mention the way it opens) and the interior with those acrylic guages is amazing. That does look awesome. Shame it will probably never even sniff an actual road.

 

Even if it makes it to production it will somehow transform into a sensible-looking four door saloon.

Yup, according to the review I read, it wasn't built with a view to putting it into production more as an excercise for their designers and as Saab is a GM brand I'd guess the chance are even slimmer :( Mind you it also mentioned that several designers of well known companies had been nosing round the Acrylic guage technology so expect that to make an appearance sometime soon...

Smooth, beautiful lines, impressive engine, shame about those uncomfortable looking head rests. I give it 9 out of 10.
