SE Nissan Good job "Enjoy the Ride"

Finally picked up my car From SE yesterday after 4 weeks of waiting, but let me tell you it was worth the wait. Not only did they sort out my non starting problem, they even put back my alarm system which was diconnected without me having to ask them, they also gave me a discount for it being so long and they even washed the car, I was astounded. The Upgrade chip has made a big difference to performance, getting about 340 bhp @ 11psi, it feels more!! I definitly "Enjoyed the Ride" on the way back.

Blew away my first victim, a Scooby came right up my arse and flashed his lights, I pulled over, planted my foot, the car jumped from 40 to 100 in a few seconds and the Scooby was a speck in my rear view mirror.

I briefly wound the boost up to 13 psi, ohhh my god I think the car was going to take off with all that tyre smoke, I took it down to 11 again, I'll wait till I get used to the performance before winding it back up again.

WOW! Long live SE. Is the chip you had done known as a boost upgrade? @ £275 if not could you give me the details, keep flying ! CHEERS

No its not,the car had already bleeder valves when I bought the car. The SE chip cost me £150 on its own. I was running 14 psi when I took it in. It came out of SE running 11 psi, and 11 psi with the chip definitly has more power then the 14 without. But when I wound it up to 13 psi all hell broke loose!

I would recommend you to have the boost upgrade and the chip at the same time.(their boost upgrade doesn't include their upgraded fuel chip)

Welcome to the club Marc! Well chuffed for ya. What can I say? I've got the SE chip and I know a few other guys who have it aswell and it blows JWT well and truly out of the water...safely aswell! wink.gif

Really glad that you are sorted and it proves that it's not how long they have your car, it's the quality of the work carried out!!! wink.gif

Good to hear you are really happy with your car marczxt. In the end what counts is the car... our cars are a pain when they go wrong so it is a delight when they go well :0)

Good!

Your quote sounds like something Ja Rule out of Fast and Furious would say! lol

eg "Its not how you stand by your car, its how your race your car!"

LMAO biggrin.gif

Too right mate! wink.gif

SE chip, Blitz intake, Blitz zorst = Keep well and truly up with 911 Turbo! wink.gif

I'm not sure it was a 911 though, great big fat arch job with hard mounted rear spoiler??? Not the self protuding BBQ jobby that 911's have! Could it be a 993 or something?

Anyway, he wasn't too happy at having me sat on his arse at about 150...ROFL biggrin.gif

Can't wait till Santa Pod RYWB next month so I can wup some boy racer arse.

SE chip rocks - it's official. The advantage over the JWT is that it's setup for UK fuel.

can you not just but the chip off them and get somebody like hi-teq to fit it

I think so mate, just need your ECU socketing by somebody first. wink.gif

Other major advantage is that SE can always tweak and remap as you add more mods!

Ask the Macca! wink.gif

SE are certainly not the deffinition of efficiency are they biggrin.gif FFS its taken them 4 weeks to do 2 hours work!!! Even though the car is now running great - IT SHOULD BE!!!!! AND it should have been running great a long time before now wink.gif

Two major qualities for a company spring to mind here:-

Quality of workmanship - Very good

Quality of SERVICE - absolutely SHITE!!!

CheerZ,

Andy

what times do you think youll make?

be carefull of RWYB, you will be in for a few suprises.

I think they realised the service provided to me was shite, I think thats the reason they gave me a huge discount. Oh well at least their work is good and the price I paid was good, they are not as bad as TDI was a few years ago when I took my old Z31 to them.

Obviously coz of the guidelines of this forum I can't say why TDI was bad.

ahh Wazza you are the south african bloke who bombs around Sutton in the Red Zed, I live in Sutton as well.

Hopefully I'm aiming for low 14s or high 13's

depends on the traction off the line at Santa Pod this year.

lol yes i am.

want to meet up?

mail me your adress, would like to see your cabby.

We went last year and that surface has no traction whatsoever. As DUFFMAN can attest, we were getting into 4th gear and wheelspinning across the line lol.

Its good fun, but i dont think the times are on that surface comparible to the times you see in the states.

Yep defo, I'll mail it to ya,

going Santa Pod on the 7th April for the RWYB on Sunday, would you be up for that event?

Is there anybody else from Sutton or from the South West London would be up for going?

Marc,

Good news on your motor mate, looks like things might be turning around for SE.

Yesterday, Andy on reception actually called me back!!. I have marked this day in my calendar.

Fingers crossed I will be picking my motor up tonight.

Dave,

Give mine a pat if you see it in there - It'll be the one with no gearbox I expect !

if you go there and see a 300zxTT manual black UK and it is not there... that's mine!! Because I never managed to get my car in!!!

Oh well smile.gif

It seems all the boy racers in Sutton don't want to race the 300 last night, they all backed off when they saw the car. The only race I got was from a Merc CLK 320 , left him for dead when I hit 2nd gear. So whos up for Santa Pod on the 7th of April?? gets some real racing done.

I would love to get there but at the moment with only one turbo working im not sure i can lol.

Car will be in the shop with no engine for me so that date is out the question.

Where do you stay in sutton?

I want you to take me for a ride in this SE beast.

you got email my man.
