Glenski they look well Phuket Westwardly without stopping!!!

Shouldn't there be a rubber boot protecting the shock aswell that goes over the spring??? Sure mine has them.

Stock Nissan shocks are OK, had new ones on the back of mine and it did stop crabbing over stone chips in the road that would nearly throw me left into lorries on the M1.

Koni or KYB mate, Tokico are good aswell. AndyP has them on his car and I can recommend them.

Get 'em sorted mate...they are beyond shocking...LOL biggrin.gif

Looks exactly the same as mine, I had my wheel off tonight, as I discovered I have KYB's on the front so I thought I'd check the rears but alas they were std and shagged. Just like yours.

Saying that it's only the gaiter that seems to be shagged so erm dunno.

KYB's are about £80 for the pair I think for the S13, and I cant see there being much difference as I think it's pretty much the same suspension setup on the S13, S14, Z32, , R32 & R33.

Fortunately I have some Tokico's coming my way on Sunday, along with some -40 springs. smile.gif Gonna get a job with the council scraping road kill with my front splitters. smile.gif Jezz has revenge on squirrels. smile.gif

Glen,

Is that oil spewed around or water splash ? OK so the rubber boots are shagged but that's no guarantee that the shocks are as well (unless they're leaking).

& Tim, there are not normally rubber gaiters over the springs.

Where did I drag that piece of bollox up from then???

Hmmm, I was sure that I'd seen something about rubber gaitors protecting the outside of the springs!!!

Was it not on the Koni group buy thread(s)???

Just ignore my rambling then...

Ramble...ramble...ramble...wibble...wibble...wibble...

Tim the rubber gaitor fits over the shocker, not the spring if you look on glens picture at the top you can see the remains of the old one wink.gif.
