Ticking sound

Hi all,

I got out of my Z this morning and left it running and I heard a clinking sound coming from the front of the car on the passengers side. I've never heard this before. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Andy

Sort of clinking/gurgling sound? Could be the AIV's, both mine are at it now! Need to take a trip to see Jeff to get them drained and drilled. wink.gif

Is it serious? What are AIVs please?

Cheers, ANdy

....actually I didn't hear any gurgling.

I think it's Air Induction Valves. wink.gif

Not serious if it is them, they just need cleaning out/replacing or drill the bottom hose to stop the condensation building up at all!!!

Useless bloody things.

If it is the AIV's the sound is louder inside the car than out and you only really here it at a standstill ticking over.

Just a thought but probably not that mate.

You didn't park on a traffic warden or something like that?
