have you checked fuse and earths mate ?

I've checked all the fuses in the engine bay, but not the ones in the footwell, do you know which one I need to look at??

Scotty

i had the same recently mate, turned out to be a badly hacked into fuse box in the pasenger footwell. It had previously had some corrosion on the sidelight relay, and someone had done a real bodge job of putting a new one in. Took it to zed world and had the side light circuit rewired. Strange that you have also lost the dipped main though, might be something to do with the switch rather than the fuses as the sidelights are seperate to the dipped circuit.

Fixed now mate, the fuse was blown, so I replaced it, still no lights, turned engine on hey presto, they startes working..weird eh?

Scotty

I believe the main headlighs coming on is built in as a sign of fuse failure - clever Japanese...

Good luck
