I cant help but notice that ALL the jap import zx's that I've seen have 2 big bore exhausts, and uk's standard spec seem to be the pair of twin tail pipe style. So are the big bores standard for the import spec?

my jap import had the original factory fitted twin pipe ones. And i like the look of them, i will get a similar look when i get some mongoose exhausts sometime this year.

kakimoto are aftermarket upgrades, very expensive over there.

Jap and Uk stock exhausts are the same. Its just that The Japenese like to modifiy.

We get ripped off for japenese exhausts in the uk in japan there peanuts eg /trust/hks /veilside/apexi/.

cats affect emissions, but a 300zx with them removed will still easily pass Mot emissions.

are you looking for cat-back exhaust. my rear boxes are 6"4" ea plus i'm getting rid of the down pipes de-cat. if interested

I think the 4 small tailpipes as standard at the back look absolutey terrible.

agree ,i went for straight through decat with 2x 5inch rolled in :)

when the car came in it had a set of kakimotos on it from the cat back ,if anyone wants em let me no ,there gathering dust
