I fancy getting one of those Carputers with the big screens like Legrath has. Any idea of costs please?

speak to legrath mate, he sells them, best guy to get advice from , very helpful

Well worth considering. If I'm not mistaken that motorised screen on David's site is the same as mine, lovely item!

Full Touch screen Motorised 7" with RCA and VGA inputs.

So even if you dont have a Carputer, you can connect it to a DVD headunit, and then if you occasionally put laptop in the car, and want to use it for ECU diagnostics and Gauges display or satnav, or connecting to a game console..etc

Vini, take a look at http://www.audionav.co.uk Carputer section.

They come Fully setup and ready to go. All software installed and setup.

Let me know if you would like to discuss.

Cheers,

David

YOU HAVE PM.....

Vini, I would say that the systems work out no more expensive than buying the various elements separate, ie DVD player, screen, CD autochanger, head unit... and you have the bonus that technically they can be upgraded like a home PC!

That seems like a good price already, let alone you doing an offer on it!
