Had to do mine for the MOT this year, I got it from Partco, they had it on the shelf, less than a tenner for the pair.

What a coincidence...Im overdue an MOT and also need one.

I cant be arsed to fit a proper one just yet as I have new tension rods etc to go on soon but need one for the MOT.

Where will do one of those really cack stick on jobbies that never work..that'll do me for now?

ps...knight_rider...sorry to jump in on your thread...just seems silly posting another thread when theres a new one active :)

Thanks :duffer:

I think Partco will do the glue together ones as well but its probably just as easy to fit the right one straight away, jack it up, remove wheel, undo track rod end, count turns off, remove old one, fit new one, count same amount of turns on and bolt up track rod end refit wheel. Slightest bit of dirt on the stick together ones and they dont glue together, and if they do they dont last long.

Hmmm....True..thanks fella

Just didnt want to pay for re-tracking when its all got to change again.

So youre saying if i count the turns off and use the same trackrod end then it wont need re-tracking?

Yes mate, if you count the number of turns off and then on and use the same track rod end then it will be fine.
