This (like the majority) of car forums is a chat/problem solving forum, go to any and there will be lots of problems highlighted...as its where people come to get help in solving problems...it just looks bad cos they are all listed in one place...hehe

plus a lot of the problems can be put down to simple wear and tear etc etc, try some others and see that all cars have problems...learn from whats listed and keep regular servicing etc etc and you will have the normal costs of a high performance car.

I agree with the above, better still go to...

www.carsurvey.org

and have a look on there. You'll find that even the cars that are made out to be so bullet proof aren't always as immortal as you may be made to believe.

Yes I agree all cars need work on them, but running costs on a Z is a joke,I never have problems with my Z so I guess I am one of the lucky ones, but when things go tits up like turbos ,gearboxes, etc be prepaired for a very large bill.

We have joked aout this in the past and I think someone started a thread called "My cars works fine" or something like that, but it kind of fizzled out becuase it was like tempting fate ! biggrin.gif

Seriously though, most people only post when they have a problem, so if we have 667 members (?) and 20 people complaining about cars with problems, taking into account that most of the cars are 10 or more years old then it's not too bad really ! (Have you tried reading the TVR forums !!! biggrin.gif)
