Ok, so i guess i should tell you all why i dont have it should i . . .

He got the car running, was idling nicely sounded fantastic apparently and then just as i was coming round the corner cambelt jumped,

 

but guess how far . . . . . 7 fooking teeth FFS,

So he now has to take the front end apart a little . . . re-allign it, hope that it start and then if it does put on a new cambelt.

 

Im just praying it does no damage,

 

Should i be able to claim this on warrantee as engine was sold to be in good condition, also AAC valve was knacked :cry:

I dont know whetever to be angry with bird cos he aint a clue what he is doing or feel sorry for him cos his ZX dream has not happened despite the money he has spent so far.

 

Just take the zed to a recognised garage who know what they are doing - Zedworld, Ztech etc.

 

Getting someone who 'knows something about cars' and you dont know how good they really are is a recipe for disaster.

got to agree> ive got to get new tubs but as much as ive played in the passed on other cars ive even done a head gasget on another car, but apart from bodywork i wont be taking no engine out, best left to the pro

ok, im getting sick of everyone calling my mechanic, he is actually a very good mechanic who many people on here have used before, he is the mechanic from pps so he actually knows Zeds very well, just hadn't said previously because i didn't want any arguements!

And like i'd previously said he had checked the cambelt.

What caused it to jump was a bit of plastic that had got caught in it!

right, now ive said my piece :rofl:

 

The car is getting the new cam belt on it tonight and then it will be back in my possession tomorrow morning ( i hope )
